Many employers are struggling with the double challenge of finding software talent while also looking to increase the diversity of their workforce. There are 625,000 software jobs open across the United States but only 62,000 4-year software graduates are available—that’s 10 open jobs for every 1 person available. Only 16% of those are women and less than 10% are Black and Hispanic combined.

Manufacturers Alliance Council members and the wider manufacturing community are invited to join Anand Setty, Founder and President of C4ITA, to discuss this growing issue and brainstorm solutions. Anand brings over 30 years of experience in the Information Technology, Pharmaceutical, and Manufacturing/R&D industries. He has held a series of progressive positions as an engineer, business leader, and global head of HR, in companies such as Abbott Labs, i2 Technologies, and Infosys Public Services. Anand hung up his CHRO hat to begin a Software Development Apprenticeship that is changing the landscape of software talent.

Please review the Manufacturers Alliance antitrust policy before participating in this virtual event.
