John Pfeifer

John C. Pfeifer serves as President and Chief Executive Officer at Oshkosh Corporation, a leading innovator of mission-critical vehicles and essential equipment. Prior to his appointment as CEO, Mr. Pfeifer served as President and Chief Operating Officer. He serves on the Board of Trustees at Manufacturers Alliance.

Prior to joining Oshkosh Corporation in 2019, Mr. Pfeifer served 13 years with Brunswick Corporation, most recently as Senior Vice President and President of Mercury Marine, a global leader in marine propulsion systems, parts and accessories. During his Brunswick tenure, Mr. Pfeifer also served as President of Brunswick Marine in Europe, Middle East and Africa, as well as President of the Brunswick Asia Pacific Group. Earlier in his career, Mr. Pfeifer held executive and general management positions with ITT Corporation and Milacron, Inc. Mr. Pfeifer brings over 25 years of senior leadership and global management experience to Oshkosh Corporation. Mr. Pfeifer is on the board of The Manitowoc Company, a global leader of industrial cranes and lifting solutions, and is a board member at the National Exchange Bank and Trust. Additionally, he serves as a board member of Wisconsin Manufacturers and Commerce (WMC) and is a trustee at Marian University.  Mr. Pfeifer has a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Japanese language from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.
