Howard Coker

Howard Coker has served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Sonoco Products Company since 2020. While he is an active member on the Company's Board and Executive Committee, Mr. Coker also serves on the Board of Trustees at Manufacturers Alliance.

Mr. Coker joined in 1985 and has served in a variety of sales, manufacturing and management positions. He formerly served as Division Vice President of Sales and Marketing. Prior to his most recent assignments, he served as director of sales, Rigid Paper and Plastics - North America, after having served as general manager - Asia/Pacific, Rigid Paper and Plastics division. He holds a B.A. degree in Business Administration and received an MBA from Wake Forest University.
