Dave Zapico

David A. Zapico serves as Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of AMETEK, Inc., a leading global manufacturer of electronic instruments and electromechanical devices. Mr. Zapico is proven to have extensive knowledge of the manufacturing industry and the markets in which AMETEK operates through his 30 years of experience at the Company. He serves on the Board of Trustees at Manufacturers Alliance.

Prior to his current position, he served as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer from 2013 to 2016. In 2003 to 2013, Mr. Zapico was President, Electronic Instruments. He joined AMETEK, in 1990, as a Product Engineer and has held a variety of engineering and general management positions ever since. He was promoted to Division Vice President of Process Instruments in 1996 and Vice President and General Manager of AMETEK Aerospace and Power Instruments Division in 1999. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Case Western Reserve University and a Master of Business Administration degree from Carnegie Mellon University.
