Cybersecurity for Smart Factories

As the fourth Industrial Revolution continues, factories and supply chains are more connected than ever before, delivering unprecedented value and efficiencies. However, more connections also mean more cyber risks. Every device, sensor, piece of equipment, connected product, and IT system is an asset and a vulnerability.

MAPI and Deloitte have collaborated on studying cybersecurity risks in manufacturing since 2016. Our research has found that potential cyber risks to smart factories are growing, and many manufacturers are finding it challenging to assess and protect against these growing risks. In our recent Smart Factory Study, we found that one in four surveyed manufacturers have not performed a cyber risk assessment in the past year.

Read the latest “Cybersecurity for Smart Factories” to understand the risk from new threats, obtain insights from key use cases, and follow next steps to start building cyber resilience in the smart factory.
