Caught in the Crosshairs

We've got bad news for manufacturers – manufacturing was the most targeted sector for ransomware cyber-attacks and the most extorted industry in 2022, according to IBM Security’s 2023 X-Force Threat Intelligence Index

But here's the good news. Manufacturers Alliance has gathered experts from The White House and the Information Technology Industry Council (ITI) to give updates on cyber policies and insights on the threat landscape in the next year. Join us in Arlington, VA on November 15 at the Cybersecurity in Manufacturing Conference to help you connect with new ideas and best practices to make your plants more secure and to recover more quickly in case of attack.

And plan to come by the reception the night before on November 14 to meet other manufacturing peers who are dealing with similar issues. This event will be of interest to CIOs, CISOs, CTOs, and executives in information technology as well as others looking to make sure manufacturing operations are secure.

“Information can make your organization stronger without having to do all the work yourself, which is nearly impossible. The criminals are extremely effective at collaborating and sharing information on the dark web, and as cyber professionals, we have to raise our level of information sharing as well.”

— Brian Cyphert , CISO and Executive Director, Global IT Infrastructure, MSA Safety Inc.
