After enactment of the One Big Beautiful Bill Act, the path for additional tax legislation is unclear. A number of issues affecting manufacturers remain ripe for legislative action, including how the U.S. will respond to changes in the global tax landscape. Mid-term elections and discord in Washington have created strong legislative headwinds, resulting in uncertainty about who will control Congress next year and what tax legislation might be enacted. Rochelle Hodes, principal in Washington National Tax at Crowe LLP,  will provide participants with an update on the latest tax developments and insights to enable manufacturers to better navigate this evolving and uncertain tax landscape.

After completing this session, participants will understand:

  • Opportunities for new tax legislation to be enacted in 2026
  • How the results of the mid-term elections could impact legislative tax priorities
  • How to prepare tax functions for what’s ahead
