AI adoption in manufacturing is already widespread — what's missing is a straight answer about which parts of sustainability strategy it actually handles well, and which parts only work in a demo.
This session walks through AI's role, stage by stage, across the full sustainability value chain: starting with data collection and emissions calculation; moving through multi-framework compliance mapping and reporting under Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive, Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism, and California's disclosure rules; and extending into the newer territory of decision intelligence, where sustainability data starts informing capital allocation and strategic choices.
Grounded in a real customer example, we'll draw clear lines between where AI is mature enough to trust today and where human judgment still has to carry the load.
Attendees will leave with the Manufacturer's AI Decision Guide, a practical map of what can be automated now versus what needs human review, plus a framework for stress-testing any AI claim their next vendor puts in front of them.
