Health & Safety Protocols for 2021 Fall Meetings

UPDATED Event Safety Policy

Please review our updated safety policy carefully, and if you have any related questions or concerns, please contact your Council Director.

Meeting Participation Options

Manufacturers Alliance continues to closely monitor COVID-19 and the spread of the Delta variant, and the impact this may have on our fall 2021 meetings. We have heard strong member sentiment for a return to in-person meetings. Thus, all meetings will be hybrid, offering both in-person and virtual access to our programing.

Health and Safety Protocols

Our top priority is your safety and well-being, and Manufacturers Alliance is committed to creating a safe space for our in-person events. We commit to following all health and safety protocols issued by federal, state, and local authorities, including the venue and the Centers for Disease Control (CDC).

In addition, Manufacturers Alliance will require the use of masks in meeting rooms and will provide for social distancing in meetings. If a member arrives without a mask, one will be provided. Session presenters will not be required to wear a mask during their presentation unless required by local jurisdiction, but they will be at least six feet from other attendees while presenting. Manufacturers Alliance encourages unvaccinated members to select virtual participation rather than attend in person.

While we intend for the event to go forward as planned, the event may be impacted by future guidance from federal and local authorities and protocols will be adjusted as warranted.

Meals and Receptions

We are working with hotels to book outdoor spaces for most of our reception and meal events. Because these hotels are taking multiple precautions to maintain a clean and healthy environment, we will not be leaving the hotel property for meals. For networking events indoors, per hotel guidance, masks may be removed for eating and drinking.

Event Registration Cancellations

We are excited to see everyone in person after so long, but if you need to modify or cancel your registration, it is Manufacturers Alliance’s policy to (1) apply your registration to the virtual program and refund the balance or (2) apply your registration fee as a credit towards future council meetings or events. Please note that the standard registration policy for cancellations that occur within two weeks of the event, remains in effect.
