Health & Safety Protocols for Events

Event Safety Policy

Please review our updated safety policy carefully, and if you have any related questions or concerns, please contact your Council Director or Alliance staff.

Meeting Participation Options

Manufacturers Alliance continues to monitor COVID-19 and its variants, and the impact this may have on our 2022 meetings. We have heard strong member sentiment for a return to in-person meetings. Thus, mosst Council meetings will be hybrid, offering both in-person and virtual access to our programing.

Health and Safety Protocols

Our top priority is your safety and well-being, and Manufacturers Alliance is committed to creating a safe space for our in-person events. We commit to following all health and safety protocols issued by federal, state, and local authorities, including the venue and the Centers for Disease Control (CDC).

Manufacturers Alliance recommends members attending in person to be fully vaccinated or to have a negative COVID test within 48 hours. Unvaccinated members or those without a negative COVID test should consider selecting virtual participation.

There are currently no states with mask mandates in place for public spaces. Manufacturers Alliance will follow any COVID protocols provided within the jurisdiction and the hotels we are using.

Meals and Receptions

For receptions and meals, we are working with hotels and restaurants to ensure they are taking multiple precautions to maintain a clean and healthy environment. During meals and networking receptions, participants are eating and drinking and therefore, not wearing a mask. If you attend the meeting, but are not comfortable being in close proximity with others, we welcome you to take a plate of food or a drink to your room or to a less crowded environment.

Event Registration Cancellations

We are excited to see everyone in person after so long, but if you need to modify or cancel your registration, it is Manufacturers Alliance’s policy to (1) apply your registration to the virtual program and refund the balance or (2) apply your registration fee as a credit towards future council meetings or events. Please note that the standard registration policy for cancellations that occur within two weeks of the event, remains in effect.
