On Demand, 48 minutes

During this webinar, we will delve into how and why a leading global semiconductor manufacturing company strategically chose and implemented a 5G standalone (SA) network over Wi-Fi for their new fabrication plant in Arizona. Hear how security, reliability, low latency, and scalability factored into their decision.

Experts from Communications Technology Services (CTS) will walk through the diverse range of use cases for the network, including IoT gateways crucial for equipment connectivity, sensor networks monitoring chemical levels in clean rooms to safeguard skilled workers, CCTV camera connectivity to an AI platform ensuring PPE compliance, and seamless command and control of mobile railcars for component transport within the facility.

Looking ahead, speakers will discuss the future network needs, including connectivity for manufacturing robotics, augmented reality for enhanced worker engagement and quality assurance, and network expansion to additional floors and service areas in the facility.
