Manufacturing HR teams are stretched thin with a steady turnover rate ensuring that recruitment activities never halt even if they have slowed a bit. And onboarding and retention activities are always close behind. AI and automation can ease the burden. In our latest member survey, 63% of respondents said AI has the potential to make hiring and management teams more efficient.

But equally on the minds of HR teams is how to keep the human element present and making it impactful once AI has freed up some of their time. For example, 67% of respondents are currently or planning to use AI systems to create mentoring relationships during onboarding. Join American Fidelity’s Caty Combs and Brent Rempe to discuss the full survey findings that will be released in May, and how manufacturers plan to incorporate AI and automation while retaining the human touch in key recruiting, onboarding, and re-recruitment activities.
